ABOUT CCHA
The Clearfield County Housing Authority (CCHA) was originally formed in 1968 under the Pennsylvania housing authority laws by the city officials who saw a need for federally assisted housing in the area. The first housing units were constructed and opened in 1974.
The CCHA operates and manages 358 units of public housing, multifamily housing, and subsidized housing throughout Clearfield County. The CCHA is governed by a 5-member Board of Directors. The Board is responsible to appoint the Executive Director of the agency to oversee the daily operations and a six-member staff including four administrative and two maintenance positions.
FAIR HOUSING – The mission statement of the CCHA is “To promote adequate and affordable housing, economic opportunity and a suitable living environment free from discrimination”
CCHA does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability or familial status. We strive to provide equal access housing opportunities to all applicants who meet the eligibility criteria.
