The Clearfield County Housing Authority will be closing its regular (non-preference) waiting lists for the following:

  • Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program waiting list
  • Edgewood Apartments – two (2) bedroom waiting

Waiting lists, as stated above, will be closed effective midnight December 31, 2025.

During this time, all other waiting lists will remain open.  Active applicants who have applied prior to January 1, 2026 will continue to be processed and active on the waiting list accordingly.

When the waiting lists are reopened, the Clearfield County Housing Authority will give public notice by posting a notice in The Progress, on the Housing Authority’s website, and social media sites.
